Jack Prins was the Tointon distinguished professor with the college of business administration at the University of Northern Colorado where he teaches applied statistics and production/operations management. Mr. Prins received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, his M.S. in operations research from Rutgers University, and his Ph.D. in statistics from New York University. He was formerly the manager of research and development at Motorola's Six Sigma Research Institute, and he has held various managerial and technical positions during his 26 years with IBM.
