Course Description
SigmaPro's highly effective Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Champion Planning& Deployment Workshop is a detailed and informative training course on the issues involved in developing, deploying and sustaining a successful DFSS program. The course content has been specifically designed to provide industrial and design Champions with detailed tools and methods to set up and manage a DFSS program. SigmaPro's extensive experience in DFSS deployment and training provides a singularly unique perspective that will assist executives and senior managers in deciding how, where, when, and why DFSS should be implemented in a manufacturing or design organization.
Participants will discuss and actually develop a deployment plan based on strategic product launch criteria and the desired financial performance as well as how to allocate resources and manage the DFSS effort. Participants will learn how to identify, select and launch service DFSS projects, and will identify and select projects from their own product portfolio. Participants will gain an in-depth knowledge of the most popular DMADV DFSS strategy (Define-Measure-Analyze-Design-Validate).
Candidate Qualifications
There are no formal requirements for participation in this seminar.
Participants are typically executives, senior managers, Champions and Master Black Belts that have ownership for or participate in DFSS deployment at the organizational or functional level.
Previous candidates have come from electronics, automotive, construction, design, defense, as well as other design and manufacturing organizations.
A training certificate will be provided which may be used for recertification credits.
